This is not a wansview camera but works with wansview cloud application. 100% tested and verified. Its a great addition to my survailance system.
It does support recording to an sd card that is secretly hidden under it.
I really like the built in security light and night vision is superb!
The only thing I had to change is a longer usb cable because I have mine mounted on the tree. Wilp be buying another one for sure.

As always (Wansview) delivers another fantastic device. This little PTZ camera is super easy to install, setup, and use! The features are also very impressive. The PTZ controls are easy to use and quick to respond to commands. The night vision features are also pretty cool, as the motion detection is tunable to whatever scenario that you need. The new feature of having white LEDs that also power on with motion detection is super cool. They’re actually very bright and make a huge difference in night time use. Overall, a superb product for an extremely fair price!

Wanted to love this camera, but it apparently has no human motion detection algorithm, as it will alert on just about any motion at all, including bugs, rain and moving leaves. This happens even on the lowest sensitivity setting, making it impossible to set night time motion alert notifications, unless you want to be notified 10 times a night for nothing. That said, the video is clear, and the camera setup was very easy. However, the white light recording is something of a drawback, as it does not have the range of the infrared, so that objects you can see clearly before the light comes on are dim and hard to see afterwards. For that reason, I turned off the light. Again, not a bad camera, but it has major flaws that drastically reduce its usefulness.

This camera is packed full of useful features. The video quality is really quite good. It is one heck of a camera for the money. However, I cannot depend on it at all. It alerts me when nothing is there. And it won’t alert me when I get into the detection zone. And my phone gets hot when using the app. If the motion detection works I would buy several more. It is somewhat useless as is! Should have given it one star but the hardware was worthy of praises.

Loved this camera! I am a big fan of security cameras and this one could be my favorite! First of all so easy to install, you just put the mounting the bracket on the wall and click in the camera. Very easy to set up, you just follow the instructions and in 2 minutes you can have your camera working. You can hear and speak thru the camera¡¯s app which is very friendly to use. Other thing that I liked from it is that you can set different favorite positions so you can easily have a look of an exact spot or area in your house. The image and sound qualities are great, especially night vision it is so clear I was surprised by it. For security outdoor cameras this would be my number one recommendation.

For the price and ease of setup this camera is well worth it. It has worked well. Sensitivity is much like other cameras. Shadows trigger it which happens alot living on a corner with cars lights. Bugs trigger it too. If it was less sensitive, you could miss meaningful movement. I like the fact that you do not need to pay for the cloud service to have a functional camera.

This is a really nice camera – lots of good features, and a very good price. However, there is no manual in the box – it is online, it is written in poor English, and it omits a lot of details about setting up and using the camera. This is a case where the manual was apparently written by the folks who designed it, and they already know everything about it, and assume you do also. If you stay with it, you’ll eventually figure it out. It is designed to work outdoors – the SD card slot and the USB power cable are both sealed by rubber gaskets (the manual doesn’t say that). The “Wansview Cloud” app is not just for cloud operation (as the name implies), it works for the SD card also (the manual doesn’t say that). In the app you can select whether you want cloud or SD card storage.

Definitely like the price for an outdoor camera with pan and tilt view. Picture quality is not bad, however, the feedback is a little slow when it comes to connecting after opening the app and also motion detection. Structurally, it seems sound, only had it for a couple days so really cannot judge yet. Couple things I dislike, the camera snaps into the base mount and there are no screws/bolts to prevent theft, something tall enough can easily jump and snag it off the wall. Also, I would prefer if the power cord was a little more discreet like coming out the mounting bracket towards the power source. Not sure if it’s a keeper yet.

So for the Price… Best deal on the market easy set-up you get multi view and quality is good for the price. The only set backs are: monthly subscription and they don’t have a very far wifi range. However i have those expensive canary cameras that i no longer use because of wansview. By far the best Budget Friendly Cameras on the market. Highly recommend them.

This is a great Wi-Fi outdoor camera. Easy to install and set up. It provides 360-degree view of the camera’s area. The picture is clear and high quality. This camera has great resolution that gives you clear images and video day and night. It provides alerts and love that can adjust the settings for the alert. This camera also provides 2-way audio and an alarm siren for extra protection. Love that you can use a micro SD card for footage storage as well as their cloud storage. The app is user friendly and provides several options. However, this camera requires it to connected with power all the time it does not have a battery. The connect cable included it a short one. Overall, it’s a great camera for additional security and peace of mind.

I expected a more difficult set-up and was pleasantly surprised by the software integration for this outdoor camera. I am using this outdoor camera for keeping watch on my dogs and 2 cats that roam my backyard during the day. When running a power source to engage the camera, the extension cord had to be elevated to keep off of the grass. I nailed the camera to a 2×4 piece of wood and then nailed dais board to a backyard tree. Solar Powered camera would be better employment for my camera, but everything is working fine. Now I am thinking about a front camera for the front yard!

This camera was far better than the last one we ordered from a different company. It took a but of time to get it connected to my internet but has been working great ever since. Had a little difficulty getting my husband’s account registered so that he could view the footage but we are very satisfied. The mic option is a plus. Can use it as an intercom to talk to my husband working on his rusty gold in the driveway. The audio is very clear- can hear conversations in the driveway along with crickets and the neighbors dogs. The night vision is clear. Having the option of setting the sensitivity of the motion sensor, light, and siren will make me feel much safer when my husband travels.

This camera was easy to setup, taking less than 3 minutes to connect to WiFi and the Wansview Cloud app. It comes with a mounting bracket allowing for easy mounting with the included hardware (screws and wall anchors). This camera connects to your network via WiFi 2.4ghz and has excellent range. I tested mine at various locations around the outside of my home and it never lost signal.
Using the Wansview Cloud app you can monitor the camera from anywhere you are, and you can control the pan/tilt functions of the camera manually to get a 360¡ã view of the area. The camera has good motion detection and alert features that can be adjusted or turned on/off within the app. If alert is setup and the camera detects motion it will record a short video clip which you can review using the app. It also has very bright LED lights that can illuminate the area upon detection which may be useful to scare away prowlers or animals. Also included are infrared LED’s for excellent night vision. The Y4 also has two-way audio if you want to use the camera as an entry monitor allowing you to communicate with visitors, delivery drivers, or whomever is in front of the camera. The audio is not the greatest quality but works well enough to get your message across without sounding garbled or scratchy. The camera has a micro-sd slot allowing for saving recorded video or you can subscribe to the Cloud service which will save recorded video online allowing you to review footage using the app. I don’t personally use the cloud service so I can’t speak on the functions and quality of that service. The camera provides very clear video day or night and faces are easily recognizable for identification purposes. I tested the features of the camera, using the app from thousands of miles away from home during a recent vacation and everything worked great. Motion alerts would come to my phone and I was able to pull up the video on the app and see what triggered the alert, and was able to monitor the camera live and control all of the functions (pan/tilt etc.) without any problems.
All-in-all this is a great outdoor camera loaded with features and functions all for a very reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this camera again, or to recommend it to others.

I know people spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on video surveillance cameras but honestly I don’t know why. We have several of these cameras, somewhat older and a different brand, but very similar, and I can tell you this one is the best yet. Very clear picture, color night vision, very responsive when turning or re-aiming it. Subscribe to the cloud storage and you have seven days of motion-detected video, even if someone destroys your camera. I am very, very pleased with my purchase.

USB cable is extra long, which is convenient. Sturdy housing and easy attachment of the camera housing is a big plug. Comes with a little mounting-sticker for drilling holes as well. All in all, happy with the unit!

?This must be one of the easiest security cameras to setup out there. The UI flows nicely to my existing video app. The image quality is very nice. The ability to pan for an outside camera is a big plus.
This purchase had an issue initially but the customer service people jumped right on in to rectify it – all good after that.
I use the camera mainly to view if our dogs were messing around on our side yard.
Highly recommend and will surely get more.

I was looking for a decent camera for the backyard and I found this camera which was within my budget. I was surprised by the quality of the image and the ease of setup. I have an outlet on an exterior wall and I used that for the camera. It detects motion and texts me, initially, its sensitivity was high and I got texts about shade movements or rain. After playing with the sensitivity in the app, I found the right balance. It survived several rains, and still working. I will highly recommend it.
It requires 2.4ghz wifi not 5G, and almost all wifi routers have that option but check it before ordering. Additionally, you will need an outlet closeby.
