These were an upgrade from the Man O¡¯War wireless. Loved them but the ear pieces wore down so I decided to get the s and go back to wired for less worries (no charging, no dropping connections, no forgetting to take them off for pee breaks while in Discord lol)
Anyway, love the looks and feel of the s and as usual with all I had to do was plug them in and add them to my Synapse profile and BAM synced RGB and I can manage all my headset needs from Synapse.
Audio is amazing very crisp and clear. I had to turn my audio setting WAY down from my old headsets because these are crystal clear.
The negative:
1. Noise canceling isn¡¯t that great but then again even when I¡¯m live streaming everyone like hearing my dog or me yelling at the cat to move his butt while I¡¯m letting him in.
2. Cord length could be longer. It¡¯s not terrible but I move around my setup a LOT and even though my headset is plugged into a USB on my desk I still have to kind wrap the cord around my driving setup and it eats the cord length up fast. An extra 12 inches would be perfect.
3. Mic light, there is a red light on the end of the mic and ho early when the mic is active it should turn a soft green to let you know it¡¯s active and red when muted or disabled.
I mean for real these ¡°issues¡± are more just me wanting to be spoiled more than usual but it¡¯s what I think.
Overall I love these and would love to save up to get an extra couple pair to give away to my followers for our next contest.

Perfect for gaming, listening to music etc. Microphone requires a bit of fine tuning to achieve good quality.

I treated myself to this headset as an upgrade to my super cheap $14 set I was using for years. Compared to my cheap set: night and day! This razor set has great sound, it¡¯s noise canceling (which was weird for me at first I had to get used to it). I love how it changes colors on the outside. I opted for this color changing set since I also have the headset holder, mousepad, keyboard, and mouse that all change color. The microphone can slide into the headset when you¡¯re not using it and glows red when you have it muted, which is a really convenient feature. I like that the volume control is on the back of the headset instead of the cord. I do sometimes accidentally change the volume when putting the headset on but this is a minor nuisance compared to my old set where the corded control was always getting stuck under my desk and was falling apart from years of use.

I usually don¡¯t write reviews but this product is outstanding. At first after buying product and waiting for it to get here I watched a lot of review videos on YouTube and almost everyone I saw had something bad to say so I got really scared and thought to return the product but when it came it blew me away I soon loved the headset and it¡¯s rgb lights great headset.

Audio wasn’t as crisp as I’d hoped, but never fails to make me happy with what I get. 9/10

the sound quality is very impressive. The only thing I don¡¯t like is where the THX surround button is located. I have a tendency to turn it on and off when I put on, remove or adjust my headphones. I¡¯m having to teach myself to grab the headphones at another angle now. The software is straight forward but every app initially starts off as Stereo and you have to enable surround sound as a new app is used. This can be a pain but once everything is setup correctly then you don¡¯t have to mess with it again. Sound quality is great in games that support surround sound.

Buenos audifonos, pero la supresi¨®n de ruido del micr¨®fono no es tan bueno.
snek –
Comfy, clean design and its wired which means the microphone quality will be superb. The ear cushions are soft and dont over heat, the built is lightweight but solid, and the microphone is top notch. Make sure you download Synapse 3, go to microphone settings and turn OFF noise cancellation which is what makes your microphone sound like garbage. One downside for me is i can’t sleep in bed with these, as personally i like to sleep in call with my girl, its ok though, i have my old headset for that i just switch at night.
Matt –
I¡¯ve had these for a few weeks and waited to write my review. I have no complaints about them, the RGB syncs to all of my other products without any issues. These look great.
Kevin –
This headset isn’t like any other. The gel cups keep my head cool all day wearing it and synapse is a powerful tool that allows you to adjust the settings of the headset amazingly. the surround sound is unimaginably realistic and you can even tell how close someone is to you, not just what direction it is coming from.
Frankuru –
I like the surround sound and they are comfortable.
Benjamin McGough –
As far as I am concerned, this is a fantastic headset. Would it be better if it were wireless? Absolutely. But don’t take away these two key features:
zero lag sideband/monitor
digital volume control
The is a USB headset. This means it is a completely separate audio device. Once you switch to it, you are no longer using the driver or hardware of your previous DAC. What benefits does this have?
Volume control – the volume knob in the left earpiece adjusts the volume of the sound device. It is not an analog variable resistor that controls the volume. When you dial it up, the volume setting of the audio device is what you are changing.
Zero-lag sideband. If you chat frequently, or record yourself speaking, you will quickly realize you need sideband – the sound of your mic being played back in the headphone. Basically, you can hear yourself talk. While this is extremely important, it is also difficult to achieve. In a typical setup, the path is mic -> audio device -> software mixer -> audio device -> headphone. This cannot be done 100% lag-free even on the fastest hardware. The solution is to do this in hardware, and that is what this headset does. The sideband path is mic -> speaker. The USB device just mixes the mic input directly into the speaker output. You can still control the level using the Synapse software, but there is absolutely no lag.
Before using this headset, I was using the Nari, which is wireless and also USB. However, it does not do the same monitoring, now volume adjustment. It has a game/voice mixer knob as well as a volume knob, but you set the audio device volume to 100% and the volume is an analog variable resistor. There is also sideband lag (though I must say it is a far shorter lag than my built in mic and speakers, and at least one other brand of headset I have tested).
They are comfortable for 4+ hour sessions and sound great. Can you hear the cable rustle around sometimes? Yes. As I said, it would be better if these were wireless, but I’m happy to trade that for no sideband/monitor lag.
Oh, and it took me a minute to figure this out – you just pinch the mic and it toggles mute.
Malachi Parton –
Good build quality. The top headband doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as it should though. It’s very comfortable and the lighting is just right. The presets for the synapse EQ are trash though. so be willing to make your own if you buy this.

Very nice

Personally I love products and will continue to purchase these. The only reason this did not get a 5 star is because of the microphone that came with mine. I do love the idea of clicking the mic to mute it and it functions great! however my friends complain about mic quality being poor, not being able to hear me well or that I sound like I am in a bin. I always make sure the mic is pointed the correct direction etc. for some reason I think my mic is faulty as I had gotten those complaints since I first used this headset. Everything else is amazing, sound quality is perfect, the ear cushioning is so far the most comfortable headset I have worn and I love the light up features and program with PC for . I just wish the mic on mine worker better

These headphones work GREAT, especially for gaming. I have a busy, loud family so noise cancellation is important to me.
Pros:
-noise cancellation
-great sound quality
-perfect for gaming
Pros:
-headphone slip off sometimes
-music isn’t always balanced (but still sounds decent)
overall I would recommend and would purchase again in the future

These are very comfortable for those long stretches of computer time. They are great for gaming and easy to adjust. I’ve tried other headsets and like these the best.

I have been using for years and they always had pretty good products. That being said this headset is by far the best headset I have ever used. The colors are great, sound quality is amazing, super comfortable, and I cannot hear any background noise!
Aden Miller –
Very good quality

I’ve been using a headset I got in a holiday Cynosa bundle. It’s a good headset, but nothing like the .
Sound is so much better, much “fuller” sound. These also feel higher quality construction, but much more comfortable to wear. Being USB, I was worried about sound volume…there is no need, these get louder than you need. I have other Chroma devices, so this just adds to the Chroma LED effects, and integrates well with the Synapse 3 software.
So far, my only negative would be the mic mute switch doesn’t work with different apps, like Discord. It’s a mute switch for the mic, so if you have it on, the system doesn’t see a microphone.
Other than that one negative, these headphones are awesome! Are they worth the $130 asking price? Probably not, but with inflation and other headphones of this level…maybe price point is spot on.
This doesn’t work with XBox or PS4, has special headphones for consoles, search for those.

Comfortable, clear, well built, and nice aesthetics!!

My son loves these. He says the sound is crisp and clear, they are comfortable even after he has worn them for numerous hours, and the mic sounds great for those he is talking to. He also loves the noise cancelling feature. He recommends them.

This is by far the best gaming headset i have ever used!
The amazing 7.1 allows you to hear incoming enemies from all directions,
RGB is a nice addition to match with my other peripherals…
Very comfortable even with long gaming sessions, absolutely love it!

Crystal clear and super crisp sound. I’m really impressed with these. They’re very comfortable and there’s no issues wearing them for prolonged periods of time. The noise cancelling capabilities are decent too.

I love these, use them for everything

I really like these headphones, and have been using them as my daily driver for listening to games when I am playing on PC. I had been using my Astro A40s, however they are usually connected to my Xbox and moving from station to station can be tedious and I would rather have a dedicated sound solution for both areas. The headphones are comfortable, I have worn them now through several extended sessions and only really only noticed them towards the end of a long day of gaming (6 hrs or so, oof) The RGB is eh, I mean you really can’t see it while wearing them but some people like the aesthetic. I did make sure my sound drivers were up to date, and made sure the games I was currently playing had all the correct boxes checked (COD, Apex). Be mindful of your games however, as some of them may have less than stellar audio bugs (looking at you Apex). I chose not to use the microphone, as I have a dedicated mic for my PC however I can appreciate how the mic stows away into the ear cup. It also has a nice LED tip to inform you if you are muted or not if you so choose to use it. I haven’t noticed any real ear sweat while using these either, and they also fit well over glasses if you wear them.
Issac Elliott –
I am review the rgb . The cable is about 6 ft and is braided so durability is great so far. The headset lighting is nice touch to rgb set up. You won¡¯t notice on your head but if you have a headset stand or something than you will see the lights. The headset gets super loud and with other s i had to be at almost 100 volume. On these I stay around 45-50 so my ears don¡¯t bleed. The mic is super clear and my friends noticed how much better I sounded than using my Nari. Overall you can¡¯t go wrong with this great headset. The only issue is the ANC is kind of weird sounding to your friends.
Rileys –
For the price, the delivers what you would expect for a mid tier gaming headset. I’m not partial to , in fact till I received these headphones I was using some $20 in ear headphones.
I tested these out up to 8 hours per day. After several hours of use, they never hurt my head. The head band is soft, yet durable. The earmuffs don’t get too warm. I will say that because the earmuffs are understandable so large to cover your whole ear, that the muffs actually rub past my ear to my beard which then began to itch. But that’s expected with any over ear headphones.
I couldn’t test out the 7.1 surround sound in game, as not many games themselves even utilize 7.1 surround sound correctly.
The headphones are USB only. Which means you CAN’T use them on your phone without some usb to 3.5mm jack, or equivalent. They aren’t Wireless or Bluetooth, so you’ll always be tethered to something.
Upon plugging the headphones into your computer, it will instantly ask to start installing the Synapse software to better EQ your headphones. You can even change the RGB color if that’s your boat floatter.
I tested them out on my PS4 and both the headphones and mic worked on it, but of course it took up one of the USB ports on the PS4, and you have to be close enough to the PS4 to keep the cord plugged in.
Speaking of tethering, the headphone cord is definitely long. If your computer is 1 foot away, you’ll have a lot of extra cord laying around. This can be a good thing as it lets me reach behind my chair and grab a soda from the fridge while still wearing the headphones.
However, anytime I move, the headphone cord rubs either against my shirt, or my desk or whatever. And you can feel that and more importantly HEAR that in the left headphone cup. Much like when 2 kids use 2 tin cans on a string. Your headphone catches the vibration from that cord.
Microphone. Everyone I played with online said that my mic sounded great. I’m not sure how the active noise cancellation would work with other people yelling in the same room while you’re on mic, or your mom doing the dishes. I tested these out in my studio, and none of my team mates complained about my Fan or the fans from my PC. The microphone retracts up into the headset, which is nice when I want to eat or drink I don’t have to hit the microphone with my food/drink. To mute the mic, you simply squeeze the mic, and it lights up Red, letting you know you’re muted. Of course the mic didn’t sound as good as my $80-$100 studio mic.
We even use these in our church’s auditorium while monitoring the live stream, and you can turn the volume up loud enough to hear only the Live stream mix, and not the auditorium worship band. That way I can be in a noisy room, and still hear the live stream mix of what people on the internet would hear.
If you’re looking for a great headset at the $100-$150. These headphones work fine for that market. I’ve tested them for almost 1 month now, with no hiccups whatsoever.
Christian Plude –
First headset. Got this for the mic. Only thing is the noise reduction lowers the mic quality alot almost to like a cell phone sound but it cuts out the background noise very well

These are great headphones!

One of the best gaming headphones for the money.. Great quality.. Easy to use and integrates with all my razor products.. the only complaint is about the software.. these use the upgraded version 3 of synapios software and it cannot import my keyboard mappings from version 2.. so now I have to remap all my games!..
R. Anderson –
For me this pair of headphones is a case of comfort over some sound quality, but for long gaming sessions I’ll take it.
Let’s start with the good. These are super comfortable and I have used them for 4-5 hour long gaming sessions without having any fatigue on my head or ears during the entire time. Much better than other gaming headsets I have used. The cushions on the ear cups are huge and soft, and the ear pieces are deep, keeping the speaker grills from touching my ears. The strap on the top of the headphones have soft padding keeping the top of my head cool and comfortable. The strap adjusts to fit my head, and each side of the headphones can be lengthened or shortened, and there are ‘clicky’ stops that hold exactly where I set them. The microphone works great and can retract when not using it so it only sticks out about 2 inches. The USB cable is about 8′ long and is made of high quality braided material. Installation was easy and my Windows 10 computer recognized the headphones right away.
The only negative I have on these is the sound quality. They sound good, but are really lacking punchy bass. For scenes in games where there are explosions, I really feel these should give a much richer bass sound on the low end. I have used other headphones, while not as comfortable, that really give a full immersive experience with the low end bass. Other than a lack of bass, the rest of the sound quality is outstanding. Surround sound is excellent, and the midrange and highs sound very good. There is an easy to access volume control on the left side of the headphones which is very handy for controlling volume in-game.
Overall I would recommend these. Although I wish they had more bass, they are incredibly comfortable.

First off let me just say this headset has insanely good audio quality and the ear cups fit comfortably around the ears. has always made good peripherals for PC gamers and this headset is another in a long line of quality headsets. These s come straight out of the box with a USB plug in, an extendable mic, and the ability to have THX Spatial Audio that makes it easier to pinpoint the direction of a noise in a video game. But I do have to leave a fair warning.
When you plug in the headset for the first time, it will automatically download Synapse which is a program where you can do things like mess with your audio EQ and set up RGB patterns for the headset. But this can come with a drawback, for on my pc, it started to short out any audio and would leave me with “Audio Renderer Error” messages on YouTube. This all came back to the Spatial Surround Sound drivers that were downloaded on my PC upon initial setup and to fix it, I had to uninstall Synapse and go through every file to scrub the Surround Sound drivers from my PC.
Now, this could just be the symptom of having an older PC but I still feel the need to leave that warning just in case. After dealing with that, the headset itself delivers clear quality, both sound and mic, and is comfortable to wear for those long gaming sessions.
R. Hammer –
We’ve used several gaming headsets over the years, from the original Turtles, to the Ferrari Thrustmaster Headset, and the HyperX Cloud. Of all of them I have to say that these are the most comfortable, but I find them to be bulkier than the HyperX’s.
One of the nice things about having a X gaming mouse to go with our new headset is that we can sync up the RGB pattern through the X Chroma software package. While I remain confused as to why the software package has to take up 500mb to manage the color profiles of headphones, keyboard, and the mouse, it is a nice touch to sync everything.
In terms of sound, I would highly recommend you take the time to download the Chroma software because it will allow you to calibrate the THX audio and the spatial calibrations.
We play mainly Fortnite and Call of Duty 4 and feel that the sound is really good, but if I had to critique it on one aspect it would be that the sound has too much bass to it and not enough treble. Could be that the drivers in the ear cups are much bigger than I’m used to, but its something I’ve noticed.
Also, speaking of the cups, be ready….they are big and they feel big on your head. Given the overall diameter, coupled with the more than 4″ depth off your head you feel like you have a really big headset on your head. The headset never “disappears” on top of your head, but the large headband (with the letters engraved on the top) helps support it as best it can.
Now to the mic… advertises that it’s biggest feature is the active noise cancellation on the mic. I will say that folks have commented that the background noise is reduced if I leave the mic on, but if someone comes in the bedroom and is talking in the background as well, then it will be picked up. The mic does have a nice feature, touch to mute, and I have taken advantage of that feature multiple times. When muted, the tip of the mic lights up red giving you a nice visual cue that the mute is on.
All in all, they are definitely a high end set of headphones and the fact that they integrate into our keyboard and mouse via the software solution is a nice touch as well. These things are big and feel big on your head, but the sound is there to give you an experience that we have thoroughly enjoyed.

I have had tried and currently use plenty of products from other lower-end headphones, keyboard to mice and mousepads. This is defiantly one of the best products from that I have used. They are much more comfortable than most gaming and raglan headphones I have tried which is surprising since they are pretty big and heavy. I think the main part of this comfort are the ear pads, they are a thick gel material and they not only block out sound well but they are some of the most comfortable ear pads I have tried so I can use this for long times. What I love these for are movies, they have a really deep bass and the surround sound makes action movies and TV shows come to life. Plus they are pretty good at blocking out outside noise so I am more immersed in the movie. My son is more of the resident gamer so Iet him try them for some games and he also said that he really likes them. He said that it’s much easier to tell where enemies are with these and that he can hear everything like footsteps. A problem that he had which I also had was the mic. It sounds pretty good but my first problem with is that it does not come with a pop-filter so people hear your breath really easily. I found that if I put it close to my mouth others hear my breath while if I push it away they can’t hear me well so I have to try and find that sweet point which is a bit annoying. The mute is also pretty hard to mute and I usually have to squeeze the mic a few times before it actually mutes, its also hard to push the mic into the headphones with one hand. Overall however I like the headphones and think that they are a great pair.
Greendrgon –
Just like the lower end headsets this has excellent sound, volume & quality. The advantage of paying up to this price point are. Much better material quality, active noise cancelling, and retractable microphone. These are a bit heaver on your head then the X USB, but NOT by much. The ear muffs are circular not oval shaped. While this isn¡¯t a large issue for a ton of people depending on where this set rests on your ears for hours on end you may get sore ears. The sound quality does make up for it in its own way. These are USB headsets just be advised. Not a bad thing. Price point for what you get is pretty reasonable. Ambient light feature is also pretty cool and somewhat mesmerizing at times. Overall, really wonderful headsets

This review is for RGB USB Gaming Headset: THX 7.1
This headset flat out just gives you unfair advantage over people you play with who don¡¯t have similar headset. You should hear my husband whining! You can hear footsteps behind and all around you before you get to see anyone coming. No more sneaking behind your back. Gaming experience is 300% better! The sound quality is also great for people playing music or watching movies, this is not a product that mostly gamers will benefit from. The headband is comfortable and doesn¡¯t make my head hurt even after wearing for few hours at the time AND the ear cushions are COOLING! I don¡¯t only use these for gaming, I also work behind the computer for long hours and play music to keep me going. The sound is great and satisfying for my Linkinpark fix. No they are not better than my Bose headphones but they are about 3x cheaper and pretty deliver pretty good sound quality. The price is pretty good and mid range for a great pair of headphones. All things considered 5 stars well deserved . Keep it up
Cross-eyed cat –
I’ve been really impressed with ‘s new line of products, from their mouse, mousepad, keyboard, and now their headset. This headset is exceptionally nice. The headband isn’t super adjustable, which could create comfort problems for some people, but for me, they seem fine. They are ultra padded on the headband, which is really wide, and I found them very comfortable.
Pros:
The mic mutes by simply tapping on it
Great sound quality
Wonderful lighting effects, fully customizable
Retractable mic
Great sounding mic
Cons:
Cable could be longer
I’ve had some people say my mic quality is not as great with the sound cancellation on
Could be more adjustable
Mic is fixed to left orientation
Not convinced the cooling gel ear pieces do much
Overall, it’s a pretty solid headset. The aluminum frame and steal headband is really nice and heavy duty, especially great if you have a curious 4 year old like I do.
OCD_OBD –
Starting off, consistently designs great packaging for their products. You know it going to arrive safe and it’s going to look nice when you flip that lid. That being said, while it is nice, this one it’s actually more standard than some of their other products.
They also consistently aim for style that go hand in hand parallel with substance. As with their other products, it lands solidly. Everything in the box looks and feels to be of high quality.
Most importantly, the actual product performance quality is on point.
While being tethered doesn’t feel like the most ideal setup, you don’t have to worry about dropped sound from frequency interference and also battery charges running down.
So about this head set. As far as weight goes, they feel substantial. The squeeze on the side of the head is excellent. Audio is clear and vibrant. Sound direction is distinct. Now for the thing I really like about this headset. The retractable boom mic. I love that it stows away when I want it out of the way compared to the swing up options.
Overall, I nice mid range headset if you don’t mind being tethered or are tired with dealing with the issues of a wireless setup.

First I want to start by saying I love the coolness of the ear cushion. The quality itself is very durable and not to meant that the looks of this thing is sweet! I really wasn¡¯t expecting much from the sound quality because I assume they put all their effort into the looks of this thing but boy was I wrong. The sound quality is loud and clear but they are not noise canceling. I mostly use mine on the computer when I¡¯m gaming or watching Netflix. These bad boys are definitely worth a try.

edition is a great headset. The retractable mic means it never gets in the way and it never gets lost. I tested it out listening to some music on my Mac, then my husband tried it on his PC and we both love it. This is a great headset at a great price. I am prone to migraines, so I need a headset with exceptional clarity at low volumes. This headset delivers and the padded ear muffs are large enough to be comfortable for extended periods of time. Highly recommend.
AE Gross –
Great headset for gaming. I tested multiple games including Fallout 4, Kingdom Come and Subnautica. All sounded great and the sound quality and immersion effect on some games were so outstanding, I nearly jumped out of my chair a couple times. The lighting effect on the headphones is configurable and a nice touch. The fitting is great and the ear cushions are extremely comfortable. Installation was easy with no problems (I’m using a PC with Windows 10.) If you want to hear where your enemies and so on are (behind you, to the front and left of you, etc.) and want to go into full game immersion, these headphones will out great for that.
C.T.M. –
For the price of this level of headset, I feel this is a strong value.
Obviously, this is best for PC based setups, but you can use this with Xbox One and PS4. The THX spacial sound element is not natively supported with PS4 from my understanding. With Xbox One, the THX coming from this unit does not function with Xbox One, but Xbox One does have a native feature now which basically mimics THX.
Comfort is very good with this unit. I can easily wear these for hours and not have sore ears.
Noise cancelling is above average, but not excellent.
Sound quality is very good at this price point. I have other headsets that pick up more detail from say, Skyrim. However, those headsets are $50+ more expensive.
Overall, this is definitely best for and Des for PC setups. You can definitely use this with consoles, but at this price, why since some features are best utilized on consoles?
Recommended for PC use, but I’d pass for dedicated console use.
4 stars
Cheers!
