This device gives me notifications every time a bug flies by it. I have it adjusted to its least sensitive setting. Drives me crazy. Needs to have software that makes it recognize only human like movements. Not bugs

The camera was easy to set up, and to install. Just make sure you have a place to plug it in on the outside wall before installing. Picture is good and clear, and connection to my WiFi is strong, even though it is outside. Nice camera, with good features like night vision and motion activation.

First let me say the customer service is wonderful!!!!! I bought this camera and absolutely loved it the picture is perfect the night vision lets you see clearly. I love that I don¡¯t have to open the door to people I don¡¯t know thanks to the 2 way mic. It lets me swivel to check out the whole yard too. Now after about a month it stopped working I contacted customer service who helped me try to fix it and when it wouldn¡¯t they sent me a new one! I will be buying more for the the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this camera!

This 2K security camera works great. It was easy to install and works just like it should. It even picks up our small dog for motion! The hook-up to our internet was the easiest I’ve used, and I have installed quite a few security cameras. The user-friendly controls are very helpful, and you can easily change the direction of the camera with the touch of your finger. It has been out in a few rainstorms and we have had no issue. We didn’t even have to reset it when our power went out! This company comes out with better products every year, but I’m not sure how they can top this one! Thank you for great products that actually do what they are supposed to!!

Got it set up and I had a different camera that had quite a bit better picture quality. That said that camera wouldn¡¯t send notifications to phone without service. This camera will at least alert you when someone is on your front porch or back door breaking in.

I’m only using the camera at a basic level so I can’t comment on all the features and functionality but for my needs it works great. But I do want to say that their customer support is top notch! I had a camera lock up from an upgrade and before I could contact their support THEY REACHED OUT TO ME! Jasmine apologized for the issue and gave me detailed instructions on a possible fix, when that didn’t work she immediately had a replacement camera sent, it arrived 2 days later. What a refreshing experience! I would definitely buy from them again.

?I live on the 3rd, floor building is not that tall. It’s impossible to see License plates from the window pointing down. The camera is not rotating fully as well. Probably in the future, that can be fixed. Because it defeats the purpose of catching other cars committing crimes.

Please note that is MANDATORY that you create a Paypal account if you want to sign up for the cloud storage. Paypal is the worst option out there. Google Pay? Apple Pay? Yes please, but this stupid option with PayPal defeats entirely the cloud storage. You might say to us a MicroSD card, but they’re unreliable if they get damaged.

I was very impressed by the overall ease of the initial setup and the quality amd features overall. The initial camera setup probably took 5 minutes or less(this does not include the time for mounting the camera).
Once in the app, there were a lot more features than I expected. The floodlight feature was one I wasnt even aware of but is extreamly nice and can be manually turned on from the phone or setup to turn on with motion. Definitely a great deterrent for anyone messing around where they dont belong and a great way to get them to look directly at the camera for a good veiw of their face.
Being able to use the same wansview app as my other cameras was a huge plus and made setup that much more simple.
I was very impressed with the quality and features, and at this price its definitely easily in the top choices for affordable security cameras. I would highly recommend.

I bought 2 camera and have yearly subscription. I can say day time is okey. Motion detection system is working good. But night vision stopped working after 4 weeks. I¡¯ve been trying to get support from company but it¡¯s totally headache. Btw picture quality is not good enough. You can¡¯t read plate numbers or can¡¯t recognize face of people.

I bought two cameras that did not connect to the router after a month, even if I reset them, they did not recognize the connection. I contacted the seller and they kindly sent me two new cameras of the same model, which are now working. I hope there will not be another new issue so soon, but the after sales service is great.

Contacted the manufacturer by email (service@wansview.com) and received a quick answer with a firmware updating file and directions.
I tried to update the firmwares of three 2K Y4 cameras.
Updating 2 of three was successful, but 1 of them failed.
Received a replacement for a failed one.
Now everything works fine.
Hopefully no more problems happen again.
I bought 3 of these cameras at the beginning of June.

They just lasted around 2 months.

Set up took less than 5 minutes. My camera stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi after two months of use and I emailed support late at night and to my surprise they responded right away and tried to help me resolve the issue but it wouldn¡¯t work and they sent a new one out the following day! I¡¯d give it five stars if the first one didn¡¯t go out but the customer service is top notch.

Camera is worth the money. Works well. I did have a software issue with my camera AFTER the return window had passed. I contacted service@wansview.com and received a response within 15 minutes. Customer service spent some time trouble shooting with me and when that didn’t work, they shipped me a new Camera within 48 hours. I’m back up and running.

**UPDATE**
As promised to the customer service – I need to update my review and actually give 5 stars for the prompt response and the resolution.
After I tried to update the firmware via a file emailed to me ( Thank you Corrine !) and not actually working one of the cameras did not respond eat all and the other one tried but was not successful.
The new units got on their way within 15 mins both of them 🙂
Cams is a really good product built decently – lest hope that any firmware in the future will not mess them up!
The customer service will go a long way in my next product purchase and they have shown a really good response !

So the price was the hook and I should¡¯ve been smarter and fall for it.
It was easy to setup and the video / audio was not bad
But the fact that it keeps dropping off the network defeats the purpose.
And cant get it restarted remotely ( no network)

FHD mode picture quality is very clear, but video is about 1 minute delay when changing the camera view angle. SD mode picture quality is blur, but no video delay when changing the camera view angle.

I have 5 of these cameras. Good quality pictures, easy to set up and use, provides good security. Had a problem and the customer service got right on it. Working together we couldn¡¯t fix the problem so within 24 hours they shipped me 5 brand new cameras. Now that¡¯s good service. Could not ask for more. Everything is working great. Good job guys.

For the price this has been the best security camera I have bought. It has a few glitches but customer support has been great and quick. Sometimes when I hit the app it says it’s not available but I back out and it comes on correctly. I use a card to record and it’s easy to go back and check the triggers. I have to fine tune the position-I need it just a hair under where it positions with the app but it’s easy to do.

Great quality and great price point. The installation was simple and the wifi range is good enough I didn¡¯t need a range extender from my router. My only regret is I didn¡¯t have it installed a week earlier to spot or scare away thieves rummaging through my carport.

This camera is excellent buy for the price.The app is better than some expensive camera’s out there. The camera stores video locally on a micro SD card.
The power cord could be longer as it is an outdoor camera.

This could be a great camera – if the motion detection detected a person and not the traffic on the road. I have played with the sensitivity settings, and it picks up everything from a bug to nothing but the traffic 80′ away. Still would not detect me at my vehicle, which is why I purchased it, less than 50′ away. I just purchased it, so I will give it a week before I return it to for a different type of motion camera.

This camera is great! Really had no idea when I purchased it that I would be able to move the lens around from my phone app. This was very helpful as I put it in my goat birthing pen and could move it around if she got into one of the corners. I much prefer this one that plugs in so I don’t have to remember to take it in to charge too. Overall a great camera for what I needed it for.
