The picture would be ok for some applications, but not for immersive viewing IMO. The scan rate of the picture is cubic and can be seen like on the cheaper TV’s from most major brands. I find it unpleasant to watch and prefer my laptop screen over it. Avoid unless you gotta have one. Then the price is the hook. I’d suggest a DLP 4k projector.

While this projector did not meet my needs; the fan was insanely loud to me personally and the picture is completely unusable during the day even with proper window treatments and the projector had a defect where I couldn¡¯t not get the lens to focus on the entire screen at once…
All that said. If you¡¯re only using this at night? With ZERO light pollution and outside it is perfect.
Inside, even if you have a pitch black theater room, which I do, this projector does not meet those needs.
I highly respect the fact that the customer support from the seller was quick on the response for return. Not only offered refund quickly and easily but was kind for the entire process.
Given that the pandemic has left most people socially inept this was a REFRESHING change of pace.
Once again without defects that I had, If viewing outside without light pollution this will be a great value purchase and it is quite small compared to other projectors which makes transport easier. ¡ªindoor regular home theater usage this will likely not meet your standards.

I am thrilled with this projector. I was looking for something small that I can use for art, but also for movies for my kids. It works great for both! I had to order an HDMI cable for my phone/ipad so keep that in mind when ordering.
The screen that is included is easy to hang and comes with removable hanging strip hooks. The remote feels a little cheap but it works fine. It is bright enough that I can use it in a dim room vs complete darkness.

Edit: After my initial review I was contacted by the company offering various options to resolve my issue. I was thoroughly impressed with how great the customer service was. Susi helped me out and was always to quick to respond. Despite the issue i had with my model I really appreciated the attention and attentiveness.
Initial review: This was good up until a few months ago. I started experiencing a glitch more and more often, where the projector would turn off for 2-3 seconds, restart, and act as if nothing had happened. This would become increasingly more annoying, as it kept pausing my streams or doing it multiple times during a movie. The fan noise, while it can be drowned if the movie is sufficiently loud, was not it¡¯s best quality either.

Pros:
I’ve had it for several months now and I have almost zero negative options of this bad boy. Nice clear video quality. I have it set up in the front room mounted behind our heads on the wall. Got a TV stick and surround sound system. I use it a ton! Awesome quality picture! We’ve watched everything from the super bowl and olympics to binging shows and enjoying fast action!
Cons:
After several hours (like 6) the fan sound gets a bit noticable during quiet parts of the movie.
Gotta use an aux cord to hook up your external sound system.
Overall a definite 5 ????? 10/10 would and have recommended to a friend

I bought this last minute for a SuperBowl party. The picture is outstanding even with projecting across a larger area. The sound out of this projector is weak, particularly for a large gathering. I would highly recommend an external speaker.

Good picture, speakers aren’t the loudest easy to set up and to operate. Have had for a little over a motlnth and the fan noise has progressively gotten louder when used intermediate. Other than the fan noise it’s a good projector for the price.

?Once we figured out how to use this projector, it worked really well. Sound is surprisingly decent coming from such a compact projector (remote is needed after plugging laptop in, which I thought it would have switched¡ I¡¯m also not super great with technology lol) we did find a YouTube video if you need help figuring out how to connect and setup. It came with hdmi cord, another cord, a white projector sheet (which is not setup in the picture that is posted), a remote, power cord, and of course the projector. If you are looking for something compact that you can take with you, that is also easy to setup- this would be it! Customer service is also extremely helpful and they responded quickly when I needed some help. Would I purchase this again? Yes. For the price, you really cannot beat this compact projector. Also, play around with the settings. It was blurry for me and seemed off in one movie and we played around with it, which ended up helping a lot. It is no high def projector, but is working great for our needs!

Our projector broke after the return/replace option was available. It had been fine up until 8 months. I figured it was a wash but was contacted by a service representative to replace it immediately. The replacement works well so far. Great customer service!

I un this item was not high priced. Given that, the picture quality was iffy at best. My thought would have to be for the screen. It¡¯s basically a white sheet with grommets on the corners! Perhaps something a bit more substantial lightweight canvas likely would helped. The other thing I did not like, not being able to size the picture according to distance of screen to projector. If one is limited on the amount of distance they are allowed, the unit should be able to account for that by sizing up or down the picture. Sound quality?? None!! Definitely have to hook an external speaker of some sort. If I had the chance to return I would. Skip this item and don¡¯t go cheap like I did ¡á? I¡¯m dry going to upgrade and get what I pay for next round

My android nor iPhone connected via our current USB cords. A special cord will have to be purchased. It’s an ok little projector. I wish it had a zoom option to be able to size the picture to the screen versus having to move the entire projector set up itself.

i bought this to put in my room. it was very nice and easy to use. when setting it up i was concerned about the quality of the picture. it was alright, but i wanted to play video games and the colors were a bit washed out. i fiddled with the settings and tried my best to find a solution, but i came up empty handed. i would recommend this for a outdoor party, but not as much for a bedroom gadget. very user friendly, a little too simple on the settings part. 3/5 stars

Absolutely loves it and had it up and running for almost a full week…I thought all his TV watching was going to be this way, but he finally packed it up and we now have it waiting for us in our movie watching room (just a room in the basement with no windows so it gets real dark). It works great, great picture and sound was load enough and easy enough to hook up to his fire stick.

?Ever since I saw Smart House as a child I always wanted a projector. Lucky for me, I have adult money now and after scouring through an endless list of projectors , I took the plunge and purchased this one. It exceeded my expectations! I purchased the official Apple HDMI cable that connects with iPhone and I was able to stream HBO, Netflix, Hulu, etc with zero issues. The sound is great as well. I put it up against my white wall without the screen & it still worked. Don¡¯t wait until your children grow with resentment because their parents never bought them one . Make them cool kids now 🙂 enough reviewing I shall binge watch Harry Potter now.

The projector works perfectly, but the second time I mounted it onto a tripod, the female screw barrel under the projector cracked and fell off. So now I can¡¯t mount it to anything without a clamp. It¡¯s fine, just warning you not to twist too tightly if you do the same.

When I first got this product it worked great & looked amazing. Immediately within the first month it started to glitch and lightbulb went out but you could still hear the sound. This happen after my 3rd time using it so I emailed them and they sent me another one. I¡¯m assuming maybe it was just the one they gave me but the second projector they sent turned out to do the same thing. If I¡¯m paying $100 for something I¡¯m expecting it to last longer than a month¡ DONT BUY !

What a great product for a great price. We got this on Black Friday but I had this one saved on a wishlist before that. Quick, easy setup – very intuitive. We hooked it up to an old Roku and it works great; we did have trouble getting the sound to work on the device, but we plugged in some computer speakers and they worked fine. We have it projected onto a plain white wall rather than a screen, so I can¡¯t really speak to the quality of the included screen. We put it on one of those plastic filing cabinets and we just roll it into a corner when we¡¯re done with it.
Pictured: We hooked it up in the playroom to the Nintendo Switch and it worked perfectly sound and all.

I liked the focus features and tilt feature. Not good for living room use.. Mine was defective. Not good for the price. The 1080p is done with tiny pixels for detail like old tvs and I’m missing a pixel. The projector itself doesn’t come with a big screen. The description for this product bosts how big the picture gets and yet comes with a small screen. It makes sense not to have a big screen because to keep good 1080p detail the projector can only be 10 feet away or less which still is too big for the screen that comes with it. If your looking to make your home video experience bigger in and better in living room this isn’t quite it. Also it has limited sound output. For the price I say no. If your okay with buying your own bigger screen separate and possibly missing pixel detail then buy it.

bought this for summer movies on the deck. Unfortunately, we quickly found out that it needs to be VERY dark to be able to see anything with this projector. For us, in the northern US, that means after 10pm in the middle of summer! This being said, once it got dark enough, it worked quite well. I used a Roku stick and was able to stream videos from Disney+ and Prime. The included projection screen worked much better than the bed sheet I planned to use.
The biggest complaint is the focus function is poorly constructed and it was difficult to get it just right. It either over or undershoots every time.

For several weeks we used this projector with your computer as a tv, overall the picture was pretty crisp (a little fuzzy on the corners). The big issue was that after watching for ~90 minutes the picture would go black. We would have to restart the projector several times. At first I thought it was an issue with over heating but over time it would cut out sooner and sooner, plus the unit did not feel hot.

I won this projector in a family christmas swap, and after doing some furniture re-arranging, I am very glad I won it. I have the projector about 12 feet from the wall and the picture is crystal clear. Its currently hooked up to a HDMI switch with an Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and gaming PC. We used it for movie night every night for the past two weeks. The kids love it.

Really enjoy this. Got it as a gift and my kids and I haven¡¯t left the bedroom since! I¡¯d recommend getting a proper stand and back up adhesive sticker wall mounts because the ones included didn¡¯t hold up but once that was adjusted (my husband suggested Velcro stripes which is helpful) we are pretty happy campers. I was even surprised that the built in speaker wasn¡¯t all that bad too. Great purchase!

I am really amazed by this product. I have the projector sitting on a shelf behind the couch and it¡¯s casted onto the white wall. The only downside is Adjusting the picture to the wall. But that¡¯s to be expected.My house has officially become the cool kid hang out. Mario kart tournaments for days. I love how there is an HDMI port for my Apple TV and switch.My cats also love it too (Hennessey is in the picture for reference)
