Take out access humidity. Small and so you use it for a small area.

This didn¡¯t do anything. Waste of money.
Brandon –
It took about a cup of water out of the air of my 8×17 camper per day during the humid months of summer. Piece of junk.
Margaret Black –
Boat. Easy transaction.
David I –
doesn’t really do anything. took two days to collect a half cup of water
P. Ban –
Sucks the moisture right out of the air.
Mick Pinar –
Used this unit for only 8 hours and quit…¡…piece of JUNK!!!!! Should be a law against selling this crap!

Pretty good little unit for a small room 8×10

Too expensive it does not work like I was expected it on my opinion don’t recomende it !!
Kp –
I would consider more expensive options before purchasing this dehumidifier. I tested it in a storage closet in my basement because, due to the reviews, I thought it would actually work. In 24 hours it only pulled out 3/4 of cup of water!! I immediately decided I would return it and drove to Lowe¡¯s to buy a dehumidifier. I bought a $199 Hisense dehumidifier that pulls 50 pints a day out of the air. After eight hours it is already half full! I tested these dehumidifiers less than 24 hours apart so the air humidity is not inconsistent. I did love how quiet it was, but it really doesn¡¯t matter if it¡¯s quiet if it doesn¡¯t actually pull moisture out of the air.
Update: The high sense dehumidifier pulled 50 pints out of the air in 12 hours. The in Hydrowave pulled 3/4 of a cup in 24.

This device is great looking and rather sexy with its blue operations light. The problem is that it doesn’t work. Our basement runs about 70% humidity and about 75 degrees F. This device extracted approximately one ounce of water per day. I tried it in several locations over a week just to get a feel for how well it works. Our plan was to use it in our camper when the camper wasn’t in use. Obviously at this production rate this will never work. Their claim is extraction of 1.7 pints of water (27 ounces) per day at 86 degrees F and 80% humidity, which is kind of a strange bar to estimate your own production against. It is so high that the homeowner cannot guess how effective the device will be under normal operating conditions such as I used in our test.
By comparison, our regular old dehumidifier in the same area of our basement in the same moisture and temperature conditions extracts several gallons of water per day. I was only hoping to get a cup or so per say to use in the camper.

First: this is a great value for the money. I was looking for a unit with a 24/7 drain which this has, but it doesn’t work. I thought the issue was being on the ground so I elevated the unit to counter height over a floor drain and it just doesn’t drain. However, it does have an automatic shut off that makes the whole thing turn red, so it’s very clear when it’s time to empty the unit.
Steve K. –
This thing is completely worthless. If I could return I would. I had it in a storage area and noticed that it never needed emptied. I bought a old dehumidifier at a garage sale for $5 and I have to empty it every day. Don’t waste your time or money. Expensive junk!!

The unit has a beautiful aesthetic, and is nice and compact. However, it did not seem to work as I had hoped it would. I purchased the unit for a small garage that has developed a summer humidity issue. I had the unit running 24 hours for four days straight, and the holding basin for the collected water never even filled to the half-way point. There was clearly a good deal of water moisture in the air, so I was surprised and a bit disappointed to see it did not seem to be working.
At first I wondered if it was because the space was too large, but I double checked the manual and it was not. And even if the room had been too large, I would have expected a different issue: the unit running constantly, filling the basin regularly, but just not being able to keep up. This was not the case. The unit just didn’t seem to pull moisture out of the air at a reasonable rate.

Good product…I hooked a hose up to the dehumidifier so it would constantly drain. But, the process clogs every day or two, I’m guessing because the hose that fits the machine is only 3/8″. I just kink and unkink the hose to create an air pocket and the water then starts moving. Besides that, it is a nice small machine for the small space we have. The water it collects is amazing!

Works well

It’s small so does small things.

This is a decent thermometric dehumidifier. As others have said, this is not a compressor driven dehumidifier, so it will not pull gallons of water from the air in a swampy basement.
However, it is great for what it is. Inside is a decent size cooler with a typical PC case fan. Very quiet. It’s been on 24/7 for the last month with no issues.
I use this in my one-bedroom apartment to help keep the humidity percentage down. It works well for me, as it takes a decent amount of water out of the air but not enough to make it feel super dry.
Decent size tank, expect to empty it once every few days (if on all the time).
The front does light up blue when powered on. Some may find it too bright but I don’t mind it.
Valdese –
It hardly pulls any humidity. What a rip off
David Pierce –
It works very well and is very quiet. The only reason that I would not give it a 5 star is due to the light which is not that bright but if you have it in a bedroom you wont need a night light. Otherwise it is well worth the cost.
Keith –
This unit didn’t take out nearly as much moisture out of the air as it claimed it would. I went with another of comparable size and have twice as much water discharging daily.

So far I am very happy with this. Have been using for a month and it is rainy season here.We live in Costa Rica so a dehumidifier is a necessity. Small size and has the option for a drain hose which most other small models don’t offer. I am using with a timer in my office cabinet to keep moisture and mold off my papers.
ramman –
I put this in a small server room (100-150sqft) with a dedicated AC unit set to 72, but the humidity was consistently running 68-74%. I’m not impressed, I assumed the tank would fill up very quickly but it takes 4-5 days to fill a tank and almost no noticeable drop in room humidity.
I will take this and place in our RV which stays much hotter while stored, but it didn’t meet my expectations for such a small room.
S846TT –
Didn¡¯t realize how small this was…. not powerful and takes a long time
Sarah Parrish –
Not impressed. Has been running for a full 24 hrs, and has not collected even half a bucket full of water. This is Missouri in the summer time, trust me it is plenty humid. I’m disappointed. Will be buying something different.

This works great, quiet for my toddler¡¯s bedroom and looks nice too! The only problem is the light is so bright if you¡¯re running it at night.
Travis Morton –
I haven’t had it running long enough to say it’s effective. However, for $80, and based on the fact that it is physically bigger than the cheaper alternatives, I expected this dehumidifier to move more air when on. There is no “high” or “low” setting, just on or off. “On” feels like it’s just barely working. The size makes it seem like you could crank it up if you really wanted to dehumidify a room.
Update: After letting this run for a whole day, it was unable to pull out even 8oz of moisture from the air. I’m starting to think that this is made to dehumidify very humid rooms, not to control the moisture in slightly humid rooms. My bedroom (120 square feet) sits at around 50%-60% humidity, which is a little high for my tastes. This dehumidifier fails to bring the level down to the 40% range. It does okay in the bathroom during a shower, but my old box fan I used to have pointed into the bathroom did a much better job. I definitely wish I didn’t spend $80 on this. Maybe my hopes were too high for this machine.

Works for small areas. Fair investment for a poorly vented bathroom, but hardly lasted a year. NOT IMPRESSED, considering the price.

So I got this little machine a few weeks ago and it’s working great. I live in a 600sq ft apartment (with one bedroom) and I can definitely say it’s working, I was so surprised at home much it collects from the air. Sometimes I’ve left this thing run for 8 hours straight and it collects about inch height of water. I move it around to the kitchen when I’m cooking and the bathroom when I’m going to take a shower, and in the bedroom sometimes when we go to sleep. I don’t really like in in the bedroom though when we’re sleeping because the next morning me and my husband wake up with a dry throat, my hubby said he woke up with a dry tongue (I don’t really know if it’s the machine that’s causing it or allergies) so we leave it out most times from the bedroom. It’s cord isn’t very long so that’s another reason why I have to move it around and arrange it to stand close to where I need it. My apartment building has a problem with mold so that’s why we bought this little guy. So far I’m happy. I’m buying an air purifier though because I think that will help more get rid of cooking smell that’s left over, we have a small place and the kitchen is open to the living room. I’ll try to update in a few months. Also the noise is not a problem for us, we almost don’t even notice but then again we live on a busy street so we might just be use to it.
It would have 5 starts if the cord was longer.
Update: 12/2018
So we’ve had this thing for almost a year and it’s still running like the first day we got! So happy with it and I might buy another for my living room next to the front door. Right now it’s winter in Seattle and with the heat turned up there’s a lot of condonation on the door. We live in building where there’s a mold problem, but thank goodness to this little guy we haven’t had an issues.

Product leaked water on to floor as soon as tank was full.
Stephanie Pangia –
The suggested hose attachment is ridiculous. The outflow knob is 3/4 if an inch. The hose is huge. When I tried to find out anything about manufacturer there is s dead end. Who makes this stuff? Why don¡¯t they sell the proper tubing.
jonathan mills –
Does not pull any moisture out of the air even though it is placed in a very humid basement.
Customer –
Works like a charm here in Florida, where the humidity is high. Very quiet too – just a slight whooshing sound. Don’t much care for the bright blue led light that shines in the night though. Covered up the lighted areas to block it. It also produces quite a bit of heat exhaust, which may be normal, as I’ve never used one before.
Caleb Chapman –
I get maybe 4oz a day from a 65% humidity room, no where near the 27oz quoted.
Christy –
The dehumidifier did not extract even a drop of moisture out of our basement, which had very damp carpet, over a 72 hour period of time. We sent it back.
Ken Mueller –
Works in my extra bathroom just fine, the hose attachment is cool too. Hardly makes any noise. Only little thing is, there is no control to keep the humidity at a different level, but it¡¯s also not expensive. Other than that I¡¯m pleased. It¡¯s wintertime now, we¡¯ll see what it does in a hot, humid, Texas summer…
Judy Kezar –
Description error, doesn’t work well in a camper.
David Stott –
Product performs well. Bought it for use in my master bath that has no return air vent. It has removed a good amount of moisture and the “locker room” smell is gone. It is a little louder than I would like, but not too bad. Next hurdle will be does it hold up to sustained use.
Gundrivr223 –
Good machine. Got my room from 98% humidity to 58% humidity in 2 days. Only emptied the water tray once.

unable to set level of humidity. Not suitable for unattended prolonged use. Small reservoir.

I followed the instructions, plugged it in and turned it on. Nothing. No light and doesn’t work. Seems to be a consistent problem with this unit based on other similar experiences.

Really wish this would have worked, when I opened the package it looked like a good size for my bedroom. I plugged it in before I went to bed, turned it on, a blue light went on, and I went to sleep. When I woke up nothing had happened. It might just be a defective machine
